Top of the wishlist for this kitchen was a breakfast pantry and large island.

To achieve this, the original footprint of the kitchen was modified, and the result is a fabulous U-shape kitchen creating the space needed for the substantial central island and pantry.

Housing small appliances and those items you want to hand every day but without cluttering your worktops, the breakfast pantry is the ideal built-in storage solution for a busy family kitchen. Combined with the full height run of units opposite, this kitchen has endless storage options which keep the surfaces clear and the contemporary style uninterrupted.

The island is a real focal point and is not only a hugely practical cooking and food prep area, but it also has lots of built in storage too. The elegant chandelier-style pendent light is the perfect finishing touch to this feature island and creates a wonderful ambience in the kitchen.

For the worktops, we installed the Aura by Dekton, which is a veined patterned worktop and slots in beautifully to this scheme and lighting, delivering on both practicality and style. Used on the island and main run of worktops, the deep veining has a lovely timeless quality to it and elevates the whole design.

We love the colour scheme in this kitchen too. The Indigo Blue has a real inky depth to it, and with all the natural light that filters through this room, it takes on a different hue from every angle.
